Gregory Swenson

Gregory R. Swenson is currently Executive Director, Capital Markets at Agincourt, Ltd., and Managing Partner of Asbury Asset Management LLC. He joined Agincourt in 2008 with over 16 years of Wall Street experience at firms such as HSBC and Lehman Brothers. At HSBC Mr. Swenson held several positions in the Investment Banking and Markets Division, including Head of North American Middle Market Sales, and Head of Corporate Risk Advisory in the Midwestern United States. Most recently he led the marketing and capital raising for Structured Products, Real Estate and Private Equity Funds, and Insurance Linked Securities in the United States and Bermuda. Prior to HSBC Greg was the New York and Boston Branch Manager for Keybanc Capital Markets. At Keybanc he managed the significant growth of the New York office, including the firm's expansion into Structured Credit origination and trading, as well as High Yield and Distressed Debt trading and distribution. From 2002 to 2004 Greg was a Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Sales for Blaylock and Partners, LP in New York, where he served on the Management Committee and led the growth of the firm's branch office system in Fixed Income and Asset Management.

Mr. Swenson began his career at Lehman Brothers where he spent 11 years, holding several positions in the Fixed Income area. 



Greg currently serves on several corporate and civic boards, including The St. Claire Insurance Company in New York, and Chicago Quest, an inner city charter school. He was a founding investor in Kortec, Inc., a plastics technology company and served on the boards of RacingOne, Inc., a media company, and West End Capital, a Real Estate investment and development company. Mr. Swenson has held several regional and national leadership positions for the Boston College Fund, and served on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Panel on School Policy. He was recently elected a Committeeman is Lake Forest, IL.

Mr. Swenson received his undergraduate degree from Boston College, and his MBA from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is currently an instructor at the New York Institute of Finance.
